Meet the founder

​Hi, I'm Georgina To'a Salazar! I was a biomedical scientist (BS in chemical engineering from Stanford, PhD in biomedical engineering from UC Irvine). In over 10 years of research experience, I authored over 20 articles in research areas including single-cell analysis, tissue engineering, stem cell engineering, and development of antibody therapies against cancer and infectious disease targets. 

​Now, I bring my expertise in grant writing, manuscript preparation, technical documentation, and content marketing to clients such as academic institutions, research organizations, companies that provide products and services for scientific research, and scientific start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Before launching Redwood Scientific Communications, I led past "writer" lives as a full-time content marketing writer, consultant for NIH, DoD, and CPRIT grant funding, and research specialist supporting publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
