I have known Gina since the fall of 2017 when she was invited to contribute abstracts to AWIS Washington Wire and Insider newsletters. I am editor overseeing a team of abstract writers. Gina is who works effectively as a member of this team, which curates news articles of interest to members of the Association for Women in Science. The first part of this work is to absorb information drawn from a variety of sources and evaluate its reliability and value for our organization.
